When I apply makeup, I want it to last all day. It has to last the whole day without smudging. This is what I want because I’m a person that wants to get her way. Primers are one way to do it. I make the most out of my time with my face and beauty fashions. The extra details will help you maintain your look for longer.
1. Face Primer

I regret not using face primer for the years I thought it was a fad in the beauty industry. When I first used primer, I realized I was in the wrong. If you’ve ever used primer, you understand what I mean. It’s worth a try if you don’t! You can ask your local beauty counter to give you a sample of the primer that you would like to test. The beauty counter will package it for you. It’s fine to give it a try without committing. But I bet that you will become hooked.
Face primers are used to prepare the skin before applying other products. Primers can fill in fine wrinkles and pores to make your makeup look natural. These gels have different textures and functions. Some are moisturizing, cooling or evening. My favorite is Guerlain’s L’or Radiance Concentrate with Pure Gold. The gold flecks reflect light to make the skin appear glowing. This cooling gel is also extremely hydrating. The gel is silicone-free, so it absorbs quickly and goes on easily. It can be used as a primer by itself because of its illuminating qualities.
By applying primer before your makeup you will get more from it, regardless of whether you are using a powder, foundation, BB or CC cream, or tinted moisturizer. Your skin will look hydrated, feel smoother, and last longer.

2. Eyelid Primer
The heat of a Midwestern summer is often a defining characteristic. You may feel your skin twitching as the air feels almost swollen. It can be uncomfortable to be around such high levels of moisture. This can cause eyeshadows to run or smudge. It is best to use eye shadow primer in humid and sweaty environments.
You will love the eyelid/eyeshadow prime because it makes your shadows look more pigmented. It keeps your eyeshadows from creasing. This also helps to keep your makeup in place so that you do not have to touch up during the day. Apply a small amount to your eyelids, and then add your eyeshadow.
3. Lash Primer
Applying fake lashes is not an easy task. I hate having to use glue. The Lash Primer gives eyelashes volume, length and separation while adding volume.
Some are waterproof while others are designed to condition and strengthen the lashes. You can protect your lashes by applying a lash prime and grow them to falsie length. This product is amazing and does not get enough attention.
